William Buck announces merger ‚Äč

William Buck New Zealand is pleased to announce a merger with Ingham Mora Audit Services in Tauranga. We welcome Licensed auditor and CAANZ Councillor, Director Richard Dey and his eight staff. We will benefit from Richard's local market knowledge, specialised expertise and personalised service as we expand across the ‘Growth Triangle’ of Auckland-Hamilton-Tauranga.

The merger took place for two excellent reasons.

Firstly, it recognises the continued growth of William Buck in New Zealand, serving clients well beyond Auckland. This is the first office to open outside Auckland, providing another base to service clients living in the Growth Triangle’.

The second reason is to improve audit rotation by adding one new Audit Director and his team of eight auditors.

Richard Dey, head of Ingham Mora’s audit team, is now the fourth Audit Director of William Buck. Richard commented that the merger met a high demand in the market for organisations requiring registered auditors, due to the large number of agriculture and manufacturing operations in the region.

‘Our clients will benefit from the scale of four licensed auditors and twenty five audit staff making us a viable FMA reporting epicentre, whilst promoting audit quality through our combined specialist expertise,’ Dey said.

‘Merging will allow smooth transition of job rotations and ensure our compliance and reporting requirements are met, so we can remain truly independent and transparent auditors,’ he said.

Dey said aligning culture was a major factor in joining William Buck, whose experience in the middle market for over 120 years and ‘Changing Lives’ philosophy was present in everything they do.

‘Since their inception, William Buck have demonstrated their commitment to quality and transparency not just in audit, but in the positive difference they have in the community,’ Dey said.

William Buck Managing Director, Clyde Young said he was looking forward to welcoming Richard and his team, who would strengthen William Buck New Zealand’s Audit division and Tauranga presence.

‘As we expand our reach across the coast, we will benefit from Richard’s local market knowledge, specialised expertise and personalised service,’ Young said.
