Praxity – William Buck’s international alliance – has been named Association of the Year at the 2017 International Accounting Bulletin Awards.

It is the third time in four years that Praxity has scooped the prize, which was presented in London on 4 October. This follows the award of ‘Rising Star’ in 2013.

Judges praised Praxity’s “outstanding progress, support and knowledge sharing on a global level”.

“This is a great way to mark our tenth anniversary” said Hilton Saven, Praxity’s Chairman, reflecting on what’s been accomplished and how the strength of the Alliance and activities of participant firms continues to elevate its global offering. “This award is testament to more than 40,000 worldwide experts and partners at participant firms and the continued success of the Alliance demonstrates their commitment to sharing expertise across international borders and delivering world class service at a local level.”

The award provides confirmation that Praxity is continuing to move in the right direction.   William Buck’s Chairman, Nick Hatzistergos, sits on Praxity’s Management Board which is charged with setting the strategy and delivering meaningful outcomes for the member firms.  He said:
“Praxity’s strategy has always centred around helping member firms to flourish in their chosen markets.  By bringing together like-minded professionals, and supporting them with collaboration tools and forums, Praxity will continue to be an influential and valuable association.

The Management Board’s focus is to provide the upmost support for our members to make collaboration across borders as easy as possible.”

For William Buck, the accolade is testimony to the value that Praxity brings to their clients in Australia and New Zealand.  Since becoming a member in 2008, William Buck has partnered with many Praxity firms across the globe to assist and support our clients with specialists on the ground who understand the local nuances, and legislative and reporting requirements.
